3 Weeks Old Already

Jaxson is almost 3 weeks old! Time passes so quickly it's mean. My awesome neighbor took some pictures of Jaxson for me when he was 2 weeks old and I just got them today. Here are some of my favorites.

I just can't believe how adorable he is. I love this little guy more than I could even begin to explain so I'm not even going to try lol. I'm so grateful for him and my husband. My life is so great and it's all because of my boys Mike and Jaxson. Mike brings out the very best in me and Jaxson is ever bit the blessing I was told he would be.

He's Growing So Fast

Now I know how my mom felt when I was growing up. It's so mean how fast these little ones change and get older. Jaxson is 2 weeks old in these pictures and he already looks so different from him newborn pictures from the hospital. I'm terrible at blogging and I started writing this like a week ago... oops lol. I'm just going to post this so I can share the pics with relatives.

One Week Old

My little man is one week old today. It took FOREVER to get him here but now that he is, time is sure flying by. Jaxson is such a good baby. I was so nervous about the lack of sleep and all the other changes having a baby brings but the transition has been almost painless so far. Jaxson usually sleeps 4-5 hours at night before waking up to eat. Last night he slept for 7 hours! He hardly ever cries either. He wimpers a little bit then calms himself down. The only times I have heard him really cry was when he was born and when he went to the doc a few days after. He's so perfect! I can't get over how cute he is. I'm not sure if I think he's cute because he's mine or if he's really that cute lol but at the same time I don't care. I think he's perfect. He's everything I pictured he would be. I've never really been a baby person. I liked kids and everything and I babysat all the time growing up but it really is so different when it's your baby. I love holding him and just memorizing his face. I miss him after not holding him for a few minutes... even when Mike is the one holding him. He's such a part of our lives and I can't imagine what life would be like without him now that he's here. I'm so excited for what is to come. He's only a week old and so much has already changed. Part of me never wants him to get bigger or grow any older and the other part of me is so excited for all the stages of his life that are around the corner. It's just so great to be a mom!

I threw in a couple of pictures of me because I feel like a million bucks! It's so great to not be pregnant anymore and to almost have my body back.

Our Little Man

Can I just say that being a mom is the greatest thing in the world?? Jaxson is so amazing and I can't get enough of him. I love holding him and just staring at him and watching the funny faces he makes. He's so perfect. It's weird to think of life was without him. So far Mike and I have adjusted pretty well to parenthood. Mike is so amazing! He's so great with Jaxson. I watch him holding Jax and I fall even more in love with him (if that's possible lol). He is so involved in everything to do with Jaxson. Mike is just a natural dad. He loves that little guy so much and you can tell just by looking at him. I'm so proud of Mike and I just know that with him by my side I'll be able to be a great mom.

We've taken a million pictures of the little guy but most of them are on Mike's phone so we're still in the process of getting them posted. Thanks to my mom we have a ton of cute pics to post in the mean time!

He's Finally Here!!!

Jaxson Anthony Colletti was born March 10th 2009 at 12:20am. He is 7 pounds 6 ounces and 20 inches long! He's the most adorable thing I have ever seen. He has dark hair just like his daddy.

Everything went great with the labor and delivery. I was in labor for about 8 hours. I went from a 5 to a 10 in about 30 minutes and pushed twice to deliver him. He's already such a great baby! He hasn't cried since he was born and he's already a pro at eating. Mike and I are so grateful to have him in our lives and it's hard to imagine what life was like without him. It's strange to be able to love someone so much in such a short time.

I'll post some better pictures once we get settled but here are some for now. Isn't he ADORABLE????

Monday, Monday

I finally have an officially end date for this pregnancy. I went to the doctor on Monday and he scheduled me to be induced Monday March 9th at 3pm. This will most likely put Jaxson's birthday on March 10th which just so happens to be my due date and my daddy's birthday. Mike and I are very excited for Monday to come. Just an FYI Mike and I are planning on waiting til Jaxson is born to call family and friends... I'm terrible and I want a couple of hours with just my new little family before I have to share him! Hope no one is offended... :)

We have finished Jaxson's room and have the bassinet all set up too. I'm such a procrastinator and I still need to get my bag packed for the hospital and pick out the clothes we want to bring him home in and all that fun stuff. So far there's no indication that I will go into labor before Monday so I think I have enough time to get everything ready... lol
