It's Friday!---Ish

Well today is my Friday! I'm taking off work tomorrow and Thursday and I already have Friday off so I totally get a 5 day weekend! I'm so excited! We're probably going to Bear Lake sometime during the weekend and we're getting family pictures taken on the 4th with my brothers and sisters and the whole clan. I'm pretty excited. We haven't had a family picture since the wedding season we went through forever ago (my 3 older siblings and I all got married within 2 years). Anyway, I'm sure I'll have some fun things to post after the weekend. Have a good 4th!

I hate going to the dentist

Have I ever mentioned that I hate going to the dentist? I know most people can say that so it's nothing new. Freak I really hate it though. I have to go this Thursday because my teeth freaking suck. I broke a tooth on Sunday. I guess that's what I get for eating cheese... Stupid teeth.

Father's Day Pictures

Here's a random shot of Mike and Jaxson watching tv this morning. Mike has gotten so dark this summer already that Jaxson is starting to look white like me lol.

Here are the pictures from Father's Day. Mike and I had a relaxing day at the house hanging out with Jaxson and lounging in the pool. This first picture is so cute! He makes the funniest faces!

I was looking online for a video game (Donkey Kong for Nintendo64 lol) and I came across this ad. Freaking hilarious!

Happy Father's Day!

Sunday was Mike's first Father's Day. We had such a great time. I surprised Mike with his gift, a new grill. Our old grill was actually his parent's old one. I switched out the old one with the new one and covered it with a new grill cover while he was at football practice Saturday morning. We had a BBQ scheduled for Saturday at 1 so at about 12 I took him to the deck and said, "Hey honey look I bought you a grill cover for Father's Day!" He looked at it and said, "Oh cool." He looked a little closer and said, "You bought me a new grill too!" He was so excited he ran to the grill and took the cover off. The weather Saturday was horrible so we snapped a couple quick pictures in the rain and went back inside. He grilled the chicken for the BBQ in the rain and swears is was still fun lol. Sunday was such a nice day at our house that we decided to grill some more. He made a steak, corn on the cob, and potato dinner. It was awesome. We spent the rest of the day lounging in the pool with Jaxson and playing Mario Kart inside. All in all we had a pretty chill weekend. I love Mike so much. He's a perfect father and husband. I can't imagine what my life would be like without him. I love our little family so much and wouldn't change a thing about it. I love that I have fun with Mike no matter what we're doing. He is truly my better half and I want to thank him for taking such good care of Jaxson and I. He does so much for me and helps me be a better person. I know Mike will be a great role model to Jaxson. Every little boy looks up to his dad and Jaxson is so lucky to have a dad like Mike. I'll add the pictures we took over the weekend as soon as I have them.

Freaking Friday!

I'm so glad today is Friday! The work week is so hard when I know I could be spending time with Jaxson and Mike instead. By the time Wednesday hits I'm dying to be home with them and the weekend can't come fast enough! Mike had to go back to work this week so my sisters Amanda and Danielle babysat Jaxson for us. Jaxson was pretty good for them from what they told me. He's usually a very good baby. Here are some recent pics:

Jaxson has learned how to use his hands a little more. He sometimes holds his binky in his mouth which is just so cute. PS I hate you Matt for getting to cuddle with my boy while I'm stuck at work! lol

In these pictures Jaxson has grabbed a hold of his toys. He was so excited he started kicking his legs so fast.

He's finally discovering that his hands are good for something! He sucks on his fists all the time now too. He's turning into a pretty slobbery kid lol. He always has to wear a bib because he spits up randomly no matter when he last ate and when he's not spitting up he's drooling everywhere lol. It's all good though. I love my little family. I'm so excited for this weekend. This is Mike's first Father's Day. Jaxson and I got him a pretty fun gift. I'll post about it later. Mike would like it too much if I told him and everyone else what I got him.

Things are going pretty well for Mike and I right now. Mike's gone back to work for his old employer until he can work on his dad's website. Hopefully that will be fairly soon. He only works 4 days a week though so we still have the whole weekend together. We're having such a great time in life right now just hanging out and watching our little kid grow. I'm anxiously awaiting warm and sunny weather. I love being outside and so do Mike and Jaxson. Even the dogs have a great time just lazing around in the backyard. I'm still waiting for good weather and a good time to have some nice pictures taken of the family. It feels like I'm so busy all the time but when I sit down and think about it, I don't really DO much. I guess that's what having a baby does. All the work just seems like fun and I lose track of time. Well I better get back to work... yes I blog while I'm working... just don't tell my boss hehe

3 Months Already!

My baby is 3 months old today. I can't believe how fast he's growing up. He has already changed so much I'm curious to see what he will look like and be like another few months from now. I love that little guy so freaking much! He is truly the reason I get up in the morning. Even when he's grouchy and annoying he's still adorable lol. I love being a mom and I'm so thankful to have him and Mike in my life. I don't know what I would do without them. Here are a couple of random pictures of Jaxson from the last week or so. Jaxson is still getting the hang of the binki. He won't keep sucking to keep it in his mouth. It's funny and annoying at the same time because he stops sucking, it falls out, and he cries for it to come back lol. He's so freaking cute! I'm so lucky to be the mom of this little guy. Aren't you all just so jealous?!

In other news things are going well. Mike has been working with his dad and learning the ins and outs of his business so he can hopefully take over and manage it for him this fall. We have also joined the Efusjon team which is all the rage right now. We're excited to see how that all plays out too. We finally got a cute picture of Jaxson smiling. Most of the time we get it right after he smiles and he ends up with a look on his face like "what the heck are you doing?" lol. This first picture is my new favorite:

His bib says "Mom thinks she's in charge." Let me tell you little man, Mom's ALWAYS in charge! lol. Grandma Colletti bought that bib for him so I can let it slide just this once ;)
