In case anyone is wondering, I'm still pregnant. I'm officially 2 weeks away from my due date. I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow so we'll see how everything is going. Mike and I had such a great week last week. We celebrated our 4th anniversary on Wednesday. We had a nice dinner at home and I surprised Mike with a Yankees watch and wallet. He was so shocked it was awesome. I'm not good at gifts and horrible at surprises so I was very pleased with myself that I could pull it off. I also had my baby shower last Saturday which was so much fun! Lots of family and friends came to celebrate baby Jaxson with us and helped us get almost everything we needed for him. I still haven't organized all the gifts we got. It seems like I only have a couple of good hours a day where I have the energy to do anything. Growing a baby is exhausting! I'm kind of relying on Mike a lot to help get everything ready but he seems to be totally ok with that. He's so excited for Jaxson to come and so am I. I'm pretty excited to be done with all the aches and pains and heartburn! I'm looking forward to the day when I no longer have to eat tums like candy lol. That's all for now. Peace!

3 Weeks and Counting

Well tomorrow I am officially 3 weeks from my due date! I'm so ready to have Jaxson here. I've definitely hit that point that just about every woman gets to where all she can think is "I just want this to be over!" Technically Jaxson will be full term tomorrow so I think it's ok for me to actively wish I would go into labor lol.
Mike and I had such a fun time over the weekend spending some quality time together and even doing a little shopping for Jaxson. We bought him an adorable Yankees outfit and a Yankees mobile for his crib. I have found that Mike is more willing to buy things for the baby when they are sports related, go figure! I'm so excited for this week. Mike and I are celebrating our 4th anniversary on Wednesday Feb 18th. I can't believe it's already been 4 years! Time really does fly by. I think it would be just perfect if I had Jaxson on Wednesday (Note to God: hint hint) lol. If we had Jax on Wednesday I could even bring him to my baby shower on Saturday. This is what we call a whole lot of wishful thinking.

4 Weeks... Maybe!

I'm finally in the home stretch of this pregnancy. I'm down to my weekly appointments with the doctor. I'm also constantly surprised by my body's ability to get larger every day. I'm pretty sure it should be part of a magic trick or something... lol.

I had a baby shower last weekend with my friends from work and I can't thank them enough for the awesome gifts they gave us. I finally have something more in the nursery than just a crib and recliner.

I had a doctor's appointment tonight and we got some really good 3d pictures of Jaxson. I think he looks a lot like Mike. It's a good thing too because I think Mike is dreamy :)

I am so excited we got a picture of Jaxson smiling! Isn't he so cute??

The doctor said he's about 5 lbs 5 oz which is what I weighed when I was born! He also said I'm 80%thinned and dilated to 1 cm. I'm thinking I may not make it to my due date but I'm ok with that. I can't wait til he's here! Wait... scratch that... lol. I'm really not ready at all for him to be here and I wouldn't want him to come too early so hopefully he will wait a couple more weeks to come lol. Besides that my mom would kill me if I had him while she was visiting Amanda and Jason in Grenada.

In other news Mike has officially decided he loves snowboarding. This is his first year going and he's addicted. He has gone every weekend since his first time and last weekend he went Saturday and Sunday. I've been told he's a natural at it. He keeps saying how much fun we will have next year when I can go with him but I'm not so sure... I'm almost positive it will be a hard thing for me to learn. I don't like falling or getting hurt... and I barely like snow. I do however like buying cute new outfits. I think as long as I get lots of cute pink snowboarding things I'll make it fun lol.

Wow do I feel pregnant...

Wow do I feel pregnant... For those who don't know I usually work from home. This week, however, I have been back in the office. The first thing most of my coworkers said to me was, "Wow, look how big you are," or "You look really pregnant!" For those of you out there who don't know this, it's not a compliment to a pregnant woman when you mention words like "big" when you're describing how she looks. As if I didn't feel massive enough, now I know that other people share the same opinion lol. Oh well I guess. It kind of comes with the territory. I guess if I were still small I would worry about how Jaxson is doing. I have another doctor's appointment Monday and I'm looking forward to it. I have been having contractions since Sunday. I know they're just Braxton-Hicks but it's still exciting. My mom's not too excited though since she's visiting my sister in Grenada til next week. I'm to the point that I remember my sisters talking about. I'm just ready to be done! I'm way excited for my baby showers that are coming up this month. My mom and mother-in-law are throwing me one for family and friends on Feb 21st. Anyone reading this that would like to come is invited. I'm sure my pregnant brain will forget to invite people so please don't hold it against me lol. I'm so excited to get everything organized and ready for Jaxson. I'm pretty excited to be comfortable again, even if it's just for a couple minutes lol. Well I better end this post since I'm technically at work haha!
