Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving this year. It was a quiet day at Willie's house with plenty of family, food and games that ended with one full and happy family :) I didn't get as many pictures as I wanted but I was too busy having fun so I'm ok with it. Mike did some shopping on Friday and I ended up with a new phone :) Christmas came early for me this year, thanks Mike! :) We're still finishing up the rest of our gifts and plans for Christmas but we're mostly done. This is my absolute favorite time of year and cant wait til the big day :)

Catching up :)

Well it's been a while since I posted anything on here and I've decided that it's time to start back up again. Our family is growing and changing so fast these days, it's hard to keep up! It's been over a year since my last post and so much has happened. We had our baby girl MaKenzie on September 5th. She was a whole week late!! Everything went well as far as her delivery and everything and Jaxson warmed up to her pretty quick. She was such a great baby and was super attached to me from day one which was adorable and frustrating at the same time. If I took two steps away from her she would start to fuss but all it took was me being near her to cheer her up. We took a trip to New Mexico to see family about a month after she was born and it was such a special trip for us. Everyone welcomed us and celebrated her and we had a great time spending time with family. The rest of the year went well. We had a calm winter getting to know our sweet baby girl and by spring we were ready to get outside and play!! We celebrated Jaxson turning 4 years old in March and it's still hard or me to believe he's not a baby. He loves to play and run and jump and yell and be crazy. He's such a boy lol. Summer came and went with so many lake trips it's hard to remember them all. Mike got a great promotion at work and he is finally getting the recognition he's always deserved. He loves working for Kimberly-Clark and we both love the way they treat their people and support each other. It's like a family instead of a job. We finished up our summer with another trip to New Mexico for Kenzie's first birthday and man did that girl get spoiled :) After that things slowed a little until we decided to put Jax in preschool this last month. It was a hard decision to make but I'm glad we did it. He's learning so much and I see change in him every day. Now we're getting ready for the holidays and all that entails. Thanksgiving is next week and I can't even list everything I'm thankful for. I'm so blessed to have an amazing husband and father to my beautiful kids. Family really is everything and I couldn't ask for a better one. 

3 Weeks Left!

I can't believe I'm almost done! We only have a few weeks left until MaKenzie makes her appearance. I feel pretty good considering lol. I find myself getting emotional often, mostly when I think about meeting my baby girl. There are things we still have to get for her like a baby monitor and crib bedding but we have most everything else. We got her car seat the other day and it was fun to be able to buy something super girly for once lol. I finally get to use all my girly stuff from when I was a kid to decorate her room. I'm already having so much fun getting ready for her I can only imagine how much fun we'll have when she gets here. Jaxson just loves babies and I'm excited to see how he is with his baby sister. Family Update

It's been longer than I wanted since my last post. We performed our dance and it was exactly how I remembered it. I had so much fun! To my dismay we stopped dance practice a couple weeks after the performance. I've managed to stay somewhat in shape but being pregnant makes that hard. I don't plan on dancing much until after MaKenzie comes. I'm 5 weeks away from my due date!! I'm super excited !! I still have so much to do before she comes so I'm actually enjoying these last few weeks. We still need to get her a crib and carseat. I've set up her room a little bit but it's not finished yet. It's nice to have a space set aside that's just for her. It makes it seem more real. The rest of the house is mostly unpacked and moved in. I really like this house. It's bigger and nicer than any house we've lived in so far. We thought about buying it but decided against it because of the schools out here. It will be fun to live here for a few years though. I love being so close to my sister. We have playdates with the kids all the time and Jax is benefiting from them. He's growing so fast I can barely keep track of all the new things he's learning. I'm excited to see him with his baby sister. He adores babies. I know he's just gonna love her :)

DANCE!! Oh Yeah!!

I'm so excited!! When I was in school I danced on the CHS Dance Company all three years and LOVED it! I'm so excited because this year the advisor decided to have an alumni dance number in the spring concert and I was one I the choreographers and dancers :) Well tonight is the first of the two performances!! I'm so nervous and so excited about it I can hardly stand it! I missed dance so much the last 8 years and now that I'm dancing again there's no way I'm stopping :) Luckily this is going to be an annual thing so I get to look forward to dancing every year. I'll get to tell MaKenzie that she was in her first dance performance before she was even born :) I'm so extremely happy right now in all areas of my life. Mike and I are doing great and can't wait for Baby Girl to get here, Jax is really getting the hang of potty training and even did number two this week for the first time, and I've finally found that stress reliever that was missing: DANCE!! Everything is coming together and I'm loving it!!

Halfway :)

Well this week I hit the 20 week mark in my pregnancy. It's hard to believe its halfway over already! For the most part I feel the same. If I didn't feel MaKenzie kicking me all the time I would wonder if I were really pregnant lol. I had my targeted ultrasound this week and they said she measures about 9oz. I'm excited to see the differences between her and Jaxson since he was such a solid baby from the very start. I'm so excited to have a girl I almost can't stand it!! I look forward to decorating her room and getting everything ready for her to come. My home has been waiting a long time for some more girl stuff :)

Easter

We spent the Saturday before Easter at my mom's house with the rest of the family. Amanda and Jason had just gotten home from their trip from New Jersey and we hadn't seen them or the kids in quite a while so it was fun catching up and watching the kids play and hunt eggs. Jaxson wanted nothing to do with the egg hunt but the rest of the kids seemed to have a great time. I had a small egg hunt for Jaxson Sunday morning and he actually hunted the eggs and had fun. Mike had to work all weekend so he kinda missed Easter this year lol. I got him lots of candy to make it a little better :)

Baby Bump Pics

I finally have enough baby bump to take some pics. These are the best ones I could get so far. She was kicking up a storm while I was taking them too. I just love feeling her move :) Can't wait to meet her!!

Big Boy Bed

We got Jaxson his new bed this weekend. It's hard I believe he's old enough to be in one but that's just what it's like raising kids lol. We got him Cars bedding since he loves McQueen so much. I was worried about him falling out of bed last night since it was his first night in a big boy bed but he did great!

We had a visit from my good friend Angie today. Its been too long since we got to hang out and it was sooooo nice catching up. She took an adorable pic of Jax and I that I just love! I'm gonna have to get it printed and framed :)

Potty Training Day One

Well I decided to finally bite the bullet and start potty training Jax today. It was rough at first and I'm already sick of cleaning up pee lol but he's really getting the hang of it. I made a chart a while ago to use as positive reinforcement and he's loving it! He loves getting to put the sticker on there after he goes. I'm so freaking proud of my Little Man!!

Jaxson is 3!!

I can't believe my baby boy is 3 years old already! He's growing and changing so fast it's hard to keep up! We had a party for him and all the other March birthdays in my family at Sparetime in Syracuse and it was a blast. So many friends and family members were there to celebrate with us. We truly are blessed to have such amazing people in our lives.
